Gona Hussein Rashid was born into a family in Sulaimani and completed her schooling in the city before moving to Sweden to pursue her education. She chose to study skin beauty and hairstyling at a prestigious academic and scientific learning center for four years, earning an excellent degree upon completion.

After finishing her education, Gona wasted no time in applying her skills and gaining valuable experience in her field. She constantly seeks to expand her knowledge and skills by taking various training and development courses, earning international certificates from countries such as Denmark, Germany, Turkey, Lebanon, and Dubai.

As an expert in cosmetics, hair, and color, Gona possesses a two-year certificate from the Danish-Lebanese Academy for Skin Beauty in the specialty of removing birthmarks, wrinkles, fats, papilloma, and whitening skin using laser and exclusive techniques, as well as administering botox and filler injections for face and breast.

Her unique expertise prompted her to return to her homeland in 2005, where she established a beauty center in the heart of Sulaimani city called "Gona Beauty for Hair and Skin," which remains operational to this day.

In a noteworthy move, Gona expanded her beauty center by relocating to a new, independent building, and rebranded it as "Gona's Touch" during Newroz in 2020, solidifying her brand as a well-known and trusted establishment.
